This talk will discuss the current trend of utilizing Generative Artificial Intelligence for a variety of business applications and where there are significant issues surrounding this technology – specifically with regards to explain-ability, daydreaming, ethics, & security concerns. We will examine some of the issues and dangers clients are facing in adopting this new form of tech and what can be done to help constrain Gen-AI and provide much-needed context to these systems, through the use of improved metadata and semantics. By understanding how Gen-AI fundamentally works, and combining that understanding with other technologies that are related but different, it is possible to uncover how to apply state-of-the-art digital assistants that can work in tandem with subject matter experts to solve problems in entirely new ways and in record times.
