Sirisha is the Data Platforms Team Lead (earlier Business Intelligence) at RMIT in Australia and has an exhaustive background in data management, specializing in data integration, migration, data warehousing and business intelligence.
She has been in the field of Data warehousing, Analytics & Business Intelligence for more than two decades. She is currently responsible for procedural and technical infrastructure around the design, build, modification, and operations of the Data & Reporting Platforms at RMIT. This includes defining & executing the data integration, virtualisation, visualisation tools and infrastructure, data storage & modelling, and best practices to help consumption of data easier to users around the University. Adopting efficient mechanisms for data storage, semantics, and presentation on the on-premise Enterprise Data Warehouse along with the recent Accelerated Data Lake (ADL) on AWS cloud to enable business continuity & operational efficiency are among her core areas of focus. She drives innovation of practices around data ingestion & transformation plus adoption of fit for purpose tools to continuously evolve the organization's information management landscape.
